Service Description
ERMI uses the analysis of settled dust in homes and buildings to determine the molds' situation. The methodology is based on using a mold-specific quantitative polymerase chain reaction qPCR to quantify 36 molds and calculate an index number for comparison with a database of reference homes. EMSL will identify and quantify the following package of fungi that was developed by the EPA and is being studied as a tool to help qualify the moldiness of homes. We analyze your samples using EPA licensed MSQPCR methods:
